I've tried it with this account, your first solo calibration will be against ancients or maybe divines if you're good enough, then you will get knocked down to legend 0-2 which is around 3.5k for your subsequent 9 games.
And i say you will get legend 2, i have couple of friends who tried it. You will not break the cap.
the title makes no sense, ofc if you calibrate max mmr = cap, you will prove it... but why to prove that water is wet?

I mean I obviously have no idea how mmr is calculated but that doesn't seem right to me at all. Anyone else have any thoughts the same as mine here? What am I missing?
100 matches now needed .... just maybe there is no cap. Or maybe its higher, but 70% its 3.5.
patch got released. no change to number of games needed to calibrate mmr. also no change to the cap. or at least not that it says?
I'm just asking because yesterday my game was still telling me , after I linked my number, that I needed "approximately" 6 more games to determine my skill to play ranked. it would put me at around 35 games.
Just asking if there was an overall change posted about it.

Win rate is useless if you are being carried by your teamates all the time thats why some players are stuck in normal or HS bracket the system is good now bro :)
