They pushed so hard so crazy. In some team fights after 20 min, they ignored the heroes and only right-click towers/ buildings.

    Any counter push strategies ?

I feel stupid to get a bkb on drow as they didn't bother to stun me.

        5 necrobooks = 5 red + 5 blue. Insane pushing power

You guys were clearly outpicked and outmanouvered.
Take a look at Dire's heroes: they have no hard carries. They have 2 summoner heroes (Furion and Shadow Shaman) and 3 heroes with AoE pushing nukes, not to mention Diabolic Edict which is pretty OP vs buildings.

Meanwhile, you have: AM, that needs at least 20 minutes to get effectively into the game. Drow, carry as well. Sven can have earlier impact but it's still not a good counterpush hero because he's melee and can be easily kited.
You had no way to stop their push, therefore you lost... there's nothing strange in this game

          Quick maffs

Tinker. 5 Stacks of march of the machines and everything who tries to push dies.

            Slammer

With the heroes you had, counterpushing wasn't bound to happen unless Sven got really fat and AM got his battlefury pretty early. This Necro 3 strategy is banned in the competitive scene. Invoker with his array of AOE spells and KotL are good examples of a counterpush that could deal with this. Jakiro and venomancer as well. Meepo would be great (pre-necro 3) as poof can wipe out entire waves of creeps/treants in a heartbeat, also he is effective against those heroes (lina is a threat though). You need to take care of Shadow Shamans searpent wards quickly as they tear down structures fairly fast. Not sure if any of this information is any use to you but your chances weren't great with that lineup, you really had to roam around assassinating those supports before they got near your towers imo.

There isn't any hero or strategy that can counter the mass necro strat.

Midas doesn't work anymore, dominator doesn't work anymore, Chen can't dominate them all, enchantress ditto.
BKB gyros or lunas can't hold if they do a slow push or just retreat the necros while bkb is activate, necros last 40 seconds, bkb lasts 4~10

Maybe Tinker can hold it with March + euls (Cyclone yourself so you won't take the Last Will dmg), just like you do against blademails.

                  @SamMcC

It isn't banned, if I remember correctly, Sigma.int did it once and EG too

                  Relentless

It was only banned by some event like 5 years ago, no seriously competitive dota "bans" anything that is in the game. Some cried about armlet bears for a while but it was used untill it was patched. The same is true of fountain hooks and back door protection removal and back dooring period before there was any protection...

Mass Necro's can be strong but its not invincible even now with the buff to necros so you can't use HoM to remove them or HotD to convert them...you can still purge them with diffusal charges and the main problem with this strat is that it requires putting a lot of farm on support heroes so it takes too long and the enemy carry of a normal strat will overpower you before you get the mass Necro's up. Then once you have them mass bkbs and kill them all...still not hard. BkB cost is the same as necro 2 so it is not hard for everyone to get BkBs up before you have Necro 3s done.

A farmed gyro or luna or medusa can easily kill all 10 necros in a few seconds with bkb up and take almost no dmg.

I love to get necro books. I get them on any support hero when extra pushing power is needed, but its not like they cannot be defeated.

Whoji sometimes your hero (drow in this case) is just terrible at counter push and it has to be someone else's job to do it. I once lotst a game in dota 1 where I was ahead 68-4 on kills. That team did not get any necro books, but they did have 5 hard pushing heroes Leshrac, NP, Chen, Kotl, Pit Lord (still only in dota 1). They constantly pushed all 3 lanes until they died. They remained low level so their respawn was short and just non-stop pushed the entire game. We had a terrible lineup for counterpush NS, Riki, Viper, Drow, Zues...and so we lost when ahead by 64 kills.

That's Hilarious XD, You should've seen the pushing strat and rely on Svens cleave to kill em

Watch yesterday's game between Mineski and IMP.
