i was 1250 and moved up to 1360, i know they only account for past 20 games but still...the gap for my friend was just...insane...and he didn't do that well in his past 20 games...
Honestly I could say the same for my self, my last 20 games have been far from perfect - But really I have no idea what the system actually takes into account
@DoxC, are you that thick? His system is heavily weighted on the skill level (through whatever calculations he is using) of your opponents and allies. If you queue with shit allies, you get shit opponents and allies, and hence you get a lower rating.
Not that it matters lmfao, you have a 47% win rate..which is not only low, but is horrible if you are in fact, playing in such low level matches. Compared to a couple other players on here who have "just" 50% win rate, but are playing near the top, and as such, receive significantly higher scores.
So if you want to get a proper rating from this site, solo queue for 20 matches in only AP (unless he fixes the bug with other modes, note that this may be why your score is so low with that 1 RD match).
I've really liked this new update cause I've seen a lot of shit talking regulars on this site all be like below 800 rofl. Either way I'm not going to take anything seriously until valve releases something official.
I'm not quite sure how the queue works, but could someone find my dsr? Been putting my steam ID twice over the span of a couple of hours but I don't quite know how to get the result
@sloth you mean you just recently started sharing stats or you just recently started playing dota? If you play dota long time but jus trecently activated sharing I think all your matches will be updated in few hours.
@Needtofeel DSR updates once a day, no idea how many games but I assume 1 is enough, just keep in mind you can play few games and rating will stay same (like you lose 7 rating 1st game, gain 8 rating 2nd game, gain 5 rating 3rd game, lose 6 rating 4th game, result - same rating)
My rating changes like 800, it was low, than today early afternoon close to my stack's and now its low again. :( But its good if i keep looking at it it will help me quit Dota if im still that low :D
hmm not sure about this, idk why people with only 400 - 500 matches played get like 1000+
I think you also need to take account on how many matches that person played, because you know getting 1 % win rate is harder if you have over 2000 games played compared to someone with only 400 matches played.
If you ask me i think people with less than 500 matches played shouldn't even get over 1000 rating unless they have 60% win rate
Answer why am I a 290? Stacking some games with lower level players? Doesn't this denote that I'd be one of the bottom players even in normal? What would you expect me to be solo queue? I have a very hard time believing your rating is good when I see this because I was I very high DBR and practically all of my solo queue matches are very high.
Maybe more matches are needed. I'm not sure. If you could explain this, that'd be great. Thanks.
i have a question, my friend is 1920 in rating but how come he is not on the top of the list?
^
He'll be there soon, wait for update.
his skill level really should not be that high....i mean theres no way hes top 30...
idk that was shocking to me thats all
@Benao doto best doto
Wow, someone's a little bitter huh?
Also a lot of players may have gotten that high rating it just hasn't updated yet.
my friend was 850 DSR rating on the previous website, now he is 1920.......

your scores are 10x more impressive than my friend....for your past games
Can you show me your friends dotabuff?
still no replies ._.
why does it reduce when you stack with lower players? And why only 20 games? I solo alot and Im always paired with feeders and so i play greedy but i didnt know i would be that low.

Is there a graph somewhere with distribution of ratings?
I would like to make a simple clarification, the new rating would only account for "recent" games. "recent" meaning 20-30 games?

Sloth you set your stats private, so your rating cant be calculated.... Or atleast there are no matches recordd on that account.
http://dotabuff.com/players/83227395
0 matches played
I just connected to dota buff recently, just to check my dsr, does that mean I have to re play 20 matches?
EDIT: Away from dota 2 today, guess I'll check it tmr when I can
How many games do i have to play in order 2 see difference in dsr

Sooo, I wanted to check this thing again and got this message:
Player number 117998063 skill rating is still being calculated. Currently, your position in the queue is .
...what?
@Nolf_ Thanks, i've only just started checking out dotabuff. Shall check again tomorrow when I can play. Thanks!
my friend was 785 DSR rating on the previous website, now he is 1777 dunno how this site can calculated like that
@bimute read patch notes at http://mydotaskill.com/
SKYNET you can`t go very high even after 2000 games, cos is not about how many games you play is about how you play.
Seems like he changed his algorithm again.
^
well the queue seems even more broken than usual
Why is my queue position a dot?
^ It should be fixed now.
DSR can now predict the winning team 65% of the time ( as opposed to the 50% random chance ).
:)
Eh yo whats my dsr if u dont mind
:)
yoyo whats my dsr yo ? hook it up yo
"Player number 15298775 skill rating is still being calculated. Currently, your position in the queue is ."
Eh...
What do you mean it can predict the winning team 65% of the time?
Mind posting my DSR?
My DSR is 1788, why it's not on the TOP list?

it's quite funny how the top list always looks different
My rating changes like 800, it was low, than today early afternoon close to my stack's and now its low again. :( But its good if i keep looking at it it will help me quit Dota if im still that low :D
'my system is not wrong'
every day everyones rating jumps up and down 800+
it can't look like the previous one because most people dont have a rating yet and because it updates once every 3 days or something
it updates daily
hmm not sure about this, idk why people with only 400 - 500 matches played get like 1000+

guess what, people with 500 matches are in very high bracket. Just bcause you play alot doesnt mean you're good.
U can get to very high bracket in 3 matches.
Apparently I'm 801 Trash Tier Emerald :/
I didn't think that I was THAT bad.

Welp my dsr is 100, ^^
Kind of fair, i would expect more but whatever.
lol it says it process 6000 players in an hour, ive waited half an hour only 200 being processed.
If you stack with worse players, your rating will converge to near theirs.
