You can't win a tinker on 1v1 as AM. You just can't without help. Unless tinker is a terrible player. How will you hit him if you are blinded?

Yup, Sano says it well. Assuming this line up is mid, laser would obliterate AM. The damage, the miss chance, the fact that it is pure and hence unaffected by AM's increased magic immunity, etc. Tinker farms up bottle, tinker wins.

IF this is "only mid" AM would clearly lose. But if it's a 1v1 game.. and he jumps to different lanes, He might be able to survive to get BKB/Manta.

If this is a global map duel for some reason (which doesn't make much sense, but w/e it doesn't make any sense to go 1v1 tinker vs am) Tinker would still win. AM can't defend the split push.

AM can jump lanes and farm BKB manta, but without supports stacking creep that is going to take him 20-25 minutes maybe. T3's will be gone and it's GG.

I don't think there are any heroes that can actually win a full 1 v 1 game against a Tinker. The free gold in a 1 v 1... Tinker will get Bot, Dagon 5, Hex, very quickly or whatever else he wants. There are no heroes that can match his pushing power in a 1 v 1 situation. NP doesn't even compare. Once he has items Tinker will chain hex and kill you at will.

1 v 1 games don't happen much anymore because people don't quit the game much. I played a lot of these in dota 1, but they are rare in dota 2.

Yeah, Tinker's probably the strongest 1v1 hero. If you're losing the lane just play safely with March and you won't lose your tower, then get your BoT and it's gg.

You can win. I've played and observed some 1v1 of this back in dota 1 days. If tinker goes for laser rockets build, AM just dodges fights til he has HP. I think one game he even made hood or (pipe nowadays) vs. tinker. If tinker goes march of machines build, AM will have an easier time. I don't know why you guys think tinker is soo OP. HE can't take a base tower as fast as Rhasta, invoker or Warlock. So around 20-30 mintue mark AM can just kill tinker outright.

Tinker isn't as OP as his dota 1 days when he could do manta/diffusal/bot build vs. AM.
