for skill build because the bounce will just push your lane early and is useless.

for item build i typically get phase drums into bkb then manta. the phase and drums give good hp and ms early to help with ult and luna's short range, the bkb helps you live a lot longer and get your ult off, and manta synergises well with glaives .

early lvls play it safe and farm early to mid game, once you get bkb teamfight and use your spells, then right click then down, dont forget to use drums!

I go R, Q, Q, R, Q, E, Q, W, W... in 70% of my games. You should go 4-0-4 if you're pushing a lot/planning to do an early rosh.

Power Treads is newbie friendly and useful if you can use the stat change properly.

My build is always: Power Treads/Magic Wand/Ring of Aquila/Drums (edit/ just for info: at lvl 9 and with this build, Luna has 130 base damage, 13 armor and 1k hp (1,1k with str treads).
then you can start building items based on the game (straight bkb, hotd, casual yasha, ghost scepter, etc.)

She also has whoreism +1, Flat chest -5, and chance to run off on you with another dude +3. Should find a new carry.

i find treads to be better for luna, she needs hp and AS more than damage and MS as a hard carry.

treads -> drums -> helm -> manta <-> bkb -> situationals (bfly, satanic, mkb, daedalus, rapier)

i have also seen my friends go s&y after drums on midgame luna builds, and they do build phase for this build.

Ok, so i have played a few games as luna now, but i seem to always not be the hard carry in the game and just resort to pushing down early towers with my aura damage boost. So that brings me to think, could Luna be rolled in a supportish position and get her normal items, but let someone else in lane last hit and try to take an early tower?

wont work. if youre a support, you gotta do support stuff like gank other lanes, not focus on denying, build support items. essentially, sacrifice massive amounts of farm and exp, which luna cant afford to. also, what does she offer as a support? a ministun, 2 nukes (1 spammable and 1 with massive cooldown), and an aura?

What do you think about going 4-4-1-2 by level 11 for maximum aoe for farming, but only going 3-0-1-1 by level 6 so you don't push out the wave, and keeping a skill point spare for until you start farming with Glaives.

So something like E > Q > Q > Lv 4 nothing > Q > R > Q > W > W > W > R, getting the 4th point in Glaives somewhere between 7 and 11.

^I guess if your team is stacking like every camp for you and you want to farm it asap, then yeah it would work fine.

u need the dmg boost from at least lv 2 of the aura

luna is a great hero for pushing and she farms faster than most carries;
she doesn't offer anything as a support (just aura and a 0,6 stun, but you can pick vengeful spirit for that)

I think you shouldn't leave the 4th point, at lvl 4 you're still laning and giving damage to your allies and yourself.
at lvl 8 (where you start leveling glaives) in most of the games the t1 tower is already down and you're starting to farm the woods.

You can skip Drums if you want, but Luna benefits a lot from the bonuses.

midas, hotd for immediate creep stacking, sometimes i only stack large camps before the ancients for obvious reasons
