You should probably prioritize it to use when your mid's creeps meet, not when your creeps meet. Your lane is probably easier than his with supports/wolves/etc.
I'm surprised nobody actually knows that it only gives damage to summoned units.

I was just thinking about the old drow which would give damage to ranged creeps globally and push out lanes. and maybe lycan do the same thing not to mention that he gives damage to all the creeps. priority would be W into Q into E. Also howl gives great lane winning potential when you have ranged heroes around to harass and kill with that bonus damage. Discuss.
