This would be great as a change. Sometimes in crazy teamfights it's hard to tell which spell is your team's and which one is Rubick's.
This is an awesome concept a guy put on the Valve Market.
Valve decided to put it down for some apparent gameplay reasons (although I don't see the problem..)
I still want the arcana (if any is in plan) to do something like this, would be damn awesome :)
Fucking yes man edited - sorry posted twice on accident. But fuck dood I love this do much
Looks cool. But it would be a massive nerf on Rubick.
Ok, not exactly massive, but it would be felt still.
It actually might be kind of negative to have this as your arcana.
Rubick is good to sometimes confuse the enemy with an ultimate.
One example would be to steal jakiro ult and you thinking it is your jakiro's in a big fight runs through rubik's ult instead.
With the green it easily tells the enemy that it was the stolen ult.
Yes better players will realize it was the stolen ult fast, but sometimes it takes a second or two and in those moments it could do some damage.
As others said, its a nerf but a cool one.
Just make it visible to allies only. Im tired of running away from an ally rubick EMP
imo this shouldn't be an arcana, but how the hero actually is.
Also feel the color should work as illusions, shows for your team, not enemy.
That'd be a nice change for rubicksxx
Wouldn't this completely just remove an aspect of the game? One has to know one or the other and thats part of the process of this. What would that do when you steal something green anyways like acid spray on the ground? Nether ward and nether blast, Death pulse, Or Death prophets exorcism. Maybe even viper strike at some points. Ravage is green too? I believe even wraith stun is dodgeable and green? idk guys IDK
I would like this, when Rubick steals AOE type moves like Death Prophets it's hard to tell who cast it.
I thought thats the point though. Because the team fails to react and notices they are melting. Hint of deception.
Hodor
Hes considering if u stole, for example, darkseer's wall. No one would be like "oh i'll just walk through here and stand here". If it was purple then the enemy would be confused to which wall is which. W/e its still pretty sick
You also have the same problem with allies being hesitant to walk through the Rubick spell effects. Which this would solve.
