Sometimes the dota 2 APi doesn't communicate the skill bracket - if it says normal sometimes in means you're always in normal, not just for the matches where it says normal.
I think it can't determine the skill, because of a high spread in skill or some uncertainty. Thats why 1v1 always has it
Nah, it is couse they only have access to the last 500 games or so, so when a game ends, they search for the match id in the previous games that they have seperated by bracket, if its still in it, they can display bracket. If you watch it, most of the time these games are 20-35 min games, depends on when you played it, how many other players played. And 1v1s are not just quick but probable less ppl play it at a time, so they are still in the list when it ends. As far as I know at least, but it makes the most sense and i think someone else maybe even an admin commented it somewhere but i cant recall for sure.
Oh okay thanks for setting me straight. I was just guessing since like, 5% of my 5v5 games have a bracket, whereas all my 1v1's do. Plus I have one solo q 5v5 in high skill, so #yoloswag420IMDENDI

Sometimes it says "Normal skill" under my games but other times it says nothing under the "name of the game" if u know what i mean. And a few random times it has displayed "high skill" too, but what does it mean when theres no text under the game?
