Many new players first see the map from the radiant side. This leads them to be more comfortable with it, especially considering that Dire isn't shown in ANY of the tutorials or early games played against bots. This translates to less knowledge seeing the map from the other side.
in the past 3 months seems like auto lose for me since im placed in dire errtime....
maybe the dota gods dont favor me. :(
no, radiant is not OP.
If you look at the heroes that most people abuse to gain mmr, dire is OP Kappa
radiant offlane is op ,
dire jungle is better ,
radiant mid is better cause of the ancient stacking and I think u can juke easier
if u knew how to exploit map depending on the side ur playing on nothing is overpowered
my hero pool on radiance is way different that im using on dire and so on
One of two is always better. Knowing advantages of each and how to exploit them will increase your chances. I would still lean towards the Radiant, because :
Last 6 months
Dire 48.19%
Radiant 60.41%
But I used to have higher win rate on dire when I played more ursa/lycan.
Dire jungle the 3 camps make easier farm for woods heroes. But I find radiant so much easier now, the ancient location for dire blows.

It seems i win more matches with radiant then dire. With dire my winrate is 40%, Why is that?
Isn't dire suppose to be known as easy win?
