Storm spirit. Very good in late, early, mid game, very fun to use, very dangerous in the right hands. Just dint pick vs heavy silence and disable lineup.
@supm8 i'm really not a fan of storm spirit i'm not sure why but yeah he does seem to be one of the better mid lane heroes :)

@1234 Oh no not pudge such a predictable boring hero, you can do better then pudge, i beat a pudge in mid lane with a Broodmother haha
@soultrap depending on her item build yes she can, don't forget i play in low skill bracket where people block pick pudge and don't know hoe to play him, broodmother can fair quite well against him if you know what you are doing
Maybe you don't like storm because you have only played 1 game with him? Try some bots games with him, practice him a bit. You will probably find you enjoy him.
@supm8 well I thought that after I made the comment, unfortunately for me I never contest mid lane and always let someone else have it, so even if I was to pick him I know it'd be a waste but yeah I guess I could have a practice with him and see what happens :D
panda ez mid hero slark is also nice mid but you can also go mid with medusa if you dare and if you want to piss of your team go mid with jugg :D that's tryhard

WR, probably the best for her attack animation and skill-set in general. OD is fine provided you have rngesus on your side to proc ess aura

Broodmother is countered by 250 gold item and is out of the game completely when you upgrade it to 3850 gold item.

Crimson Guard is the big counter to Broodmother. Really. Not AOE nukes or true sight or any of those things. But Crimson Guard.

I was talking about Pudge. If Pudge goes standard itembuild, Brood can be a problem, but if he opts to early Stout Shield and Crimson Guard later in the game, Brood will be useless.
P.S. AOE nukes are not always available, because most of the time Brood picked last. And of course you need true sight, it's too obvious to mention it.
I always like razor mid. Only one I'm decent with, well that and viper. Viper's pretty easy.
@Timberwolf i think razor is one of the top 5 mid lane heroes, i watch all the pro players on joindota and stuff like that to try and learn who a really good mid lane hero is, i'm mostly drawn to think the best is Templar Assassin, she seems to fair well no matter who she is placed against plus once she levels up refraction she can farm like crazy, razor can't really do that, he's still my favorite hero but as long as people pick pudge and sniper in the low skill bracket games i'll never get mid haha
Also sorry for starting this pudge and broodmother thing haha i wasn't trying to say pudge is crap i was just saying due to his predictability i struggle to see how he's the best mid lane hero, i used broodmother as an example for beating pudge in mid lane (which i have done and the game is on my page if you don't believe me) because she gets a lot of s**t for being a crap and weak hero in low skill bracket games.
Razor is the strongest mid hero in terms of laning dominance. Death Prophet is also top mid hero.

I'm pretty nooby and i admit it but i'm eager haha i love DOTA 2 even though i'm not that great, obviously i play in normal skill bracket but i still try really hard all the same. I consider the people on here the experts so if i have a question (as pointless as it may be) i ask you guys :) I'm a massive Razor fan, i think he's fairly easy to play with and i think he's probably one of the best mid lane heroes on the game. I know i'm probably wrong and i know a lot of the time its a situational thing. It's just i get bored of seeing Pudge and Sniper hog the mid lane when i think there are other heroes who can do just as good a job.
So i'm wondering who you guys actually think the best mid lane hero is?
this is just lighthearted chat i'm not trying to make a point or wind anybody up so sorry if the question annoyed anybody, but thanks all the same guys :)
