Like I know every retard's guide out there says "don't random if you want to raise your mmr" but let's be honest, most people have no idea how to play the game anyways so you're really not losing out on much unless you're an op hero spammer at 6k+.
50% of people at 5k don't know the basics of dota, this probably rises to 85% at 4k and close to 100% below that, and the most frustrating part is when someone with 50xx - 54xx shows up on ur team, loses the game singlehandedly, and then u check his dotabuff and he has like 50 games of jugg from the previous patch so you know he's a retard
I had a troll 2-19 (picked)
he was mid and went for the good old max Fervor build... :)
well i can assure u half the people i play with that have 5xxx at the endscreen have no idea how to play dota, i'm assuming they played a broken hero to get here
50% for me, could be a different figure for you
what's also interesting is that waga climbed from 7k to 7500 much faster than he did from 6600 to 7k, but that's off topic
i hate those people, i bring my %68 win rate hero to the table and they are just randoming to a hero they dont know + dont wanna play. If they can't find someone to swap they have to play with it and naturally they suck with it. Total MMR killer. Just do not do that, if you wanna try a new hero, wanna experience something different than you always play, why the hell you are in ranked match ? i have to put my rank in your hand without a choice. Why don't you play normal match making ? So you don't fuck others MMR and i dont have to sup someone who dont know what he is doing.
the most fuckd up thing about randoming is when you get the same hero twice and the other team counter picks you....
but yea i usually random if i'm really bored of doto(after playing a 10-15+ games day)
Nah, I guess it is your own decision whether you want to improve or be forever stuck in that skill bracket with those people.
Why not just random in regular games instead of fucking up ranked for other people? I mean if your point is to get better at other heroes.
i bet if someone posted "randoming is good for improving + expanding ur hero pool" on reddit it'd get downvoted instantly
^thats basically the reason why it gonna be downvoted
afaik, in hugh mmr levels people random rather often
^Because they have a general idea of how to play the hero and not die.
