you can stun him from ulti.
i tested with lina.
you can land a euls stun on him 95% of the time if timed perfectly and he is spamming his remnant.
Needs to snowball, he can't farm fast at all. Plus storm does snowballing much better with better initation and more mobility.

He has a 0 cast point no turn escape. This means that pro players can abuse their knowledge and reflexes to dodge anything that isn't mystic seal or hex for almost the entire game
His AoE damage and disable are very good, and he scales absurdly well into the late game in antipush, sieging, aoe damage, and fast buybacks into fights.
Orchids are an issue, but most pro players buy euls, manta, or BKB anyway. Most hexes don't come out until late into the game, by which point you can have snowballed to victory or bought a defensive item
His escape ability goes from good to game-breaking when you factor in that teammates can be drafted abaddon or tree and buy eblades/forces
