General DiscussionPuck with Aghs is sleeper in coordinated games?

Noone picks him because he becomes worthless when enemies pick up BKB. He also doesn't have a large sustainable source of damage. I'm not saying you have to rush Aghs. You can get it later after dagon/sheep/euls.

Every 5k or 6k I know insist that its a horrible pickup. But is it really? It potentially provides 500 aoe damage and a 4.5 second BKB piercing stun. At its worst, its an 8 second, 200 damage root with a BKB percing ministun. It would work so well with many other heroes that require enemies to stay in place; Medusa/Dark Seer/Disruptor and plenty of other heroes.

You could do gimmicks like forcestaff or vaccum to break coil. You could use it to prevent enemies from kiting your carry or use it to kite their carry. You can't dispel it with Manta or BKB, if you blink out you still trigger it I believe and the duration makes it hard to outlast it with items like Euls.

Everybody seems to keep explaining how its a horrible skill because you can just wait it out but 8 seconds it not something you just 'wait out' in a teamfight. The only time it sucks is if the enemy team is strong enough to manfight your entire team within the coils. Which is why you would draft a lineup that is strong but requires the enemy to be locked in place.

You can even cut off enemy heroes from joining their team. Circle back, Coil 1 or 2 heroes and have your team fight 5v3. With a minimum of 5 seconds later, it should have made plenty of space for you in fights.
