LOL, in SEAsia server the average ping is 100ms. When things go bad, they spike like, up to 300 or something. Even in rich countries like Singapore or Malaysia. (Explains why a lot of them play in PW)
Well I respect that, but I've been used to play on relativly low PING, and I can't get used to delay between turn rates..
I average 85 ms I didn't even realize that was that bad I heard before it was I do notice if it goes to like 95 it gets hard to play for me tho.
Filthy, that's my point. I know how Dota looks like on 100 MS, and given that number, I think actually I am having around 100 ms.
For some reason, it says I got 30-40-50-60-70 when I check, but it could be easily some packet loss, or even some other things.
I'll probably reinstall OS, but if I recall corectly, now I actually think problem occured when I installed Reborn Dota.
Ah maybe that well I just upgraded my internet a few mins ago I wanna see what it's like playing with lower ping maybe if u unistall reborn sorry I don't know enough about computers.
hex0r was advertising some app caled WTFast that reduces ping. check it out. no ideea if it works however
Dam just upgraded my internet to 30/5 and checked ping and it was 76 I was hoping for more of a difference do yall think upgrading to the 50 one?
Yo shred, man i dunno, my avg ping in SEA is like 170-220ms lol, maybe im already used to it. You can probably try downloading wtfast.
Yo filthy, try wtfast as well man, internet speeds does not affect ping, its your ISPs servers proximity/routing to doto servers is what makes pings low.
lol i average 150-200 ping on eu servers most of the time and i see no problems landing razes on my sf
Ye I guess after you get used to 150ms, you can play.
But when you play on 50 ms and get 100 ms, it's really not that easy to change that.
Anyway, now it's back to normal.
I would say, change your DNS. If you are using Windows 7
Go to control panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change Adapters Settings ( on the left side of the windwos ) > Find "Local Area Connection" > Right Click on "Local Area Connection" and click on "Properties" > Scroll down and find "Internet Protocol Version 4 ( TCP / IPv4 ) *If you can't find it, I wonder how you are able to access to the internet* > Click Properties
> Check/Tick Use the following DNS server addresses : and put in ( 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 )
There are TONS of DNS out there, but that 8*** I mentioned is from "Google" officially so I would suggest that one my friend. If it doesn't help.
1. Check for programs that is using your Internet and close it ( except Steam of course )
2. Reinstall DotA 2 ( It works for a lot of peoples )
3. Maybe it's the server

Lately I got problem that really bothers me.
I got 50-60ms, EU West, however, when I play SF, turn rate for him or for some other heroes are just terrible. It's like 100 MS.
I can't land any razes that requieres. a bit of accuracy, and landing a last hit seems a lot harder now.
When I play heroes like Slark/NS/Lina, it matters much less, but for SF, I actually have hard time dealing with that.
Any sugestions?
