as much as i disliked insects b4 moving into the dorm, now if i were to choose between holocaust not happening and a cockroach holocaust happening i'd totally choose the latter

roaches on the other hand are extremely resilient(including to most specialised poisons which only repel them for a time), fast, annoying, disgusting and smart(they can pick angles and positions at which u cant get them, they are aware when you're staring at them and intend to kill them)
also they love making noises at night

i remember killing roaches for a biology project with a friend from the class, we were supposed to use ether or some other chemical like that, - under a lid so they suffocate or something
we almost got high on the fumes because roach almost drowned in that thing rather than suffocate since we had to pour a lot of that stuff until it actually had an effect
am i the only person feeling bad about killing insects? when i have to get rid of them i just throw them out and even then im worried if it's cold outside or something
