i believe i'm a part of a quite tiny minority who doesn't find it that much fun - especially when i play on hardest difficulty since beginning; - difficulty = monsters one/two shot you and you need to hit them 500 times while they repeat the same pattern of 3 attacks and you mash two buttons and try to not fall asleep), also my attention span is pretty short so i often forget midway of the quest what and why am i doing and i get lost in dialogues
as i said it's just that tougher enemies have absurdly high hp and your hits dont do much - it's like fighting taurus demons with a broken sword. dark souls were hard but not unfair (not counting bed of bullshit)
although the fights look really nice they're actually super stupid since you just spam LMB and sidestep which dodges as well as roll and spends 0 stamina so you just need to be careful to not get shot down by ranged enemies or get surrounded (which isnt actually hard to get out of either)
but there are some mods balancing fights a lot in this regard so i think i'll try them out in my second playthrough
Excuse me? my mmr is 2.3k and according to valve i am above average (2.1k) so my opinion must be respected and my analysis on the game is legit and im going on factual basis. I dont like to kiss ass of any pro without any reason. U have no right to criticize it u bastard.
the only hard fights are against ghouls or werevolves (or some other mobs that i dont remember) which have the habit of putting an endless regeneration buff on themselves after they get injured a bit so you can't repeat your sidestep bullshit but you're forced to actually focus one enemy with quick consecutive hits
the only hard fight i can think of was against morkvarg i believe where after you got him down to like 75% hp he used the regeneration buff
but this regen was so high that you could hurt him only by hitting him nearly constantly while he kept leaping and swinging claws at you, as soon as you fell out of rhytm or gave him a small breathing space your dps lowered and you either virtually dealt no damage in that time gap or he even healed himself more than you damaged him
i thought he gave up, i recall him calling out people either on playdota or on here how he's far better than anyone here can ever be and managed to not get anywhere regarding profi scene
