    6.86 introduced yet more early game consumable options and dotabuff provides only end game usage stats. This gives the false impression that early game items are not used and don't win.

    Is it possible to produce average usage of consumbable items for dotabuff plus users? Is the 5 mango pudge build I just saw in the Shanghai Major Open doing well in pubs?

    How many gg branches do people use? How many tp scrolls are used at 5k vs 2k MMR?

      but how would you figure out a 5 mango pudge build is good vs five separate games using 1 mango? You'd almost need specific starting item build win rates vs singular items.

        That's why this post and the item timing post go together. You have to sort the items based on when purchased to know things like this.

              But even with timings you wouldn't know the difference between a 5 mango build and 4 games no mangoes vs 5 games with 1 mango

                Dotabuff could make a feature for dotabuff plus that showed the top starting item builds and the % used like it does for skill builds.
