Same thing as aghs Sven - you're not going to have that many people right clicking to make it really useful in most cases, the difference is that magnus is often played as utility etc. Really depends, if you have a drow in your team why the fuck would pick magnus, you'd probably want to build an aura strat and take towers down quickly with venge/luna/drow/troll etc.
I think stacking a billion cleaves is kinda dumb, really id want mag aghs for strong right clicker period like jug, wk, Sven, pa. Once you go blink refresher what else does mag really need anyway?
Yeah I don't think stacking Luna and drow usually works too well, you have two really squishy ranged carries who depend on bkb.
I think the most potent combo for Magnus (with Aghs) is Magnus + Medusa atm. RP clumps everyone up and is also a good set-up for Stone Gaze, after that the attack damage amp. (from Stone Gaze) + Magnus attack damage amp. aura + Split Shot + Split Shot cleave should output enough damage for a full team wipe.
For other Heroes, I guess it's only situational. Blink and Force are way more important. After that Glimmer and Refresher are probably still more usefull than Aghs in 9/10 situations. It may be good when you're up againts illusion Heroes like PL.
I don't think the split shots will cleave, just the main attack. Still might be enough dmg though for a wipe but medusa's base is actually reduced by her split shot so she's actually worse at cleaves than other heroes.

Yeah, if there's somebody who can play the visage that's great. I am not used to seeing the death chicken though cause I'm dogshit.
Visage is not hard to play. Even if you are bad and can't micro refresher bird stuns and shit he's still really good just putting your birds on auto and tabbing through the groups to stun. His slow and nuke are awesome.
ranged heroes don't cleave, they splash. difference being the area and that cleave is not reduced by armour while splash is. also splash is an attack modifier just like crits are for example. therefore flak cannon and split shot secondary attacks do not have attack modifiers applied to them.

Ok is i have played mag 2 times since the new patch and the aghs seems rly good with certain heroes like gyro ember and maybe even drow i mean the spell was already good 50%added damage and 50% cleave but with it now being AOE and working with ranged heros it might be broken in certain strats i still think on mag you NEED blink force staff i am going to see how it working with flak cannon and drow aghs before saying it is worth getting it before refresher or Shivas. wht do you think?
