No, because if you time your dagons right you will have a lot of gold anyways and glimmer cape is a shitty item.
Question, why not buy a Smoke? You can activate it without getting detected, and kills you off of the mini map, and it will break once you get close to an enemy, only 50 gold!

Max blink strike first
Then invis
Get ult when you can
Then get stats
Then lastly, get smoke. maybe. If you feel like your team is gonna bug you too much about it, it's better to just not level it at all.
Item build:
dagon 1
Sacred relic
Shadow blade
Dagon 3
Divine Rapier 1
Boots of travel
Dagon 5
Divine rapier 2
Divine rapier 3
NEVER under any circumstances buy any shit items that don't give damage.
