If the old calibration games put you in a bracket that you don't belong to, you should be easily able to get a higher MMR - especially if the calibration phase isn't even over.
Simple as that, no new account with an ever higher uncertainty factor needed.
ive played 1200 matchs and only 2700mmr to be fair i know that everyone says this but iget really bad luck with teams, im hoping to get to 3.5k soon where people arent so dumb consistently
Your calibration period happens in the very first games you play, it doesn't matter that you played a couple games with your friend way back the mmr given to you then can only vary by a maximum of a thousand and that is only going to happen in a perfect 10 win streak where you are averaging something ridiculous like 800gpm and completely stomping your opponents. If you made a new account you would probably calibrate at something around 2.7k give or take but I wouldn't recommend it you will learn a lot more by simply carrying yourself out of 2k.
Hey man as u can see ur skill bracket is normal skill. So u can just get 1k-3k. (3k is the max mmr for normal skill bracket.)

Yes, I am pleb.
I played like 3 or 4 ranked matches a year ago with my friend, and we were total shit players back then, and i think that has messed up the calibration, I just want to hear your opinions on this. Thank you.
