^ It is different. But at the end, you can have the option of making this season mmr your regular mmr

It is different but if u want to replace it at end of compendium u can say if u are 2k and this new mmr says youare 3k u can sswap them and proof u are now 3k in 40 games

the problem with people who calibrate more than they deserve,(in this new calibration system) should play another 40 matches to replace their actual mmr, so in those 40 matches, they will get the same MMR.

Honestly you cant get made at valve for this, people are already doing this with account buying and selling. Valve has only just found a way to mediate that for income and improvement on the game you are currently bit**ing about.

I calibrated at 200 MMR year and a half ago. Made it to 1.2k then can't go any higher. Bought this to recalibrate. So far, first match was at 2.5k, I'm actually fine with 2.5k, I just want out of 1k. I don't like smurfing.
