all his moves are actually avoidable. I think you mean that charging he does every know and then. you just have to dash-jump over it. really tight vault and difficult maneuver just to avoid it, but it is possible

I just checked how it was dealt, you poke him with your chain rod when he comes at you and he flies upward
then the lasers you just jump through them, it should be a tap jump, a dash below, or a full vault on those lasers

teams can have as many I think, there are substitutes as well.

last I saw Rave they had like 4 more subs in their team along with their first 5

each speedrun I do I invest like hours and hours of practicing and at least 100(nah, probably more) repeats of the same stage whenever I trip over(get damaged) or I find a really awesome shortcut, like the one I did on the artificial sun stage on MMZ4. that shit literally cost me a whole afternoon of practice.
