Personally my go to Meepo counter is lich. If i can get Aghs + Octarine i can literally manfight 5 meepos without dying. You obviously have to play him as a solo offlaner and get a midas unless you wanna be poor as shit.
if the meepo is bad ember is REALLY good, but if the meepo is bad earthshaker sven etc are also really good
Axe is good really early but falls off. Wyvern is the best, she also scales really well against him.

the tinker with agha and aether lens just dodge the meepo's net and play micro gaming its just a ez breezy for tinker i think!
Jakiro works great, massive damage and attack speed slow in an aoe. It's pretty easy to land your abilities on him as opposed to more faster heroes, meepo can't really burst you down fast enough or interrupt your spells so you can usually land all 4 of your abilities. I've solo killed Meepos before as Jakiro.
Timbersaw is another obvious choice, Leshrac counters him to if anybody still plays him. ES and Magnus are also great choices too. Though Sven is still by far the best counter from what I've seen.
Also another minor point, thought not actually a counter, but if you pick bounty hunter and get multiple tracks on different Meepos, each tracked Meepo will give bonus gold.

Just play bloodseeker against meepo. Go dagon eblade refresher. Even if meepo gets 2 hearts or some shit u can bloodrage self, then bloodrage a meepo then eblade dagon refresher eblade dagon.
Dark Seer can cause a lot of havoc with Ion Shell. Put it on one of the Meepos in a cluster and it forces the player to separate that one after a while.
Pick Riki buy battlefury atleast 3, not sure though and then use blink and ultimate if you see all the Meepos.

2: WW

sven is easily the hardest meepo counter.
Any hero can counter most pub meepos IMO though. Play the player not the hero. Make things chaotic and overload the player so that they make a microing error.
Stunning and thus isolating an escaping clone whilst the rest are poofing away is highly effective.
Meepo is pretty OP if you can play it in pubs properly I feel, if you get 5th pick meepoed there is often nothing you can do.

Yes cus farming aghs and refresher on warlock is so easy. Honestly don't feed him and end game early. He's not that strong early, bkb counter poof bombs and he can't right click you to death until he has 4 items or more. It game goes to 40-50 mins and you aren't way ahead gl.

@Direwolf you cant finish game early against meepo and you should not anyway, meepo players always makes their goal to end the game before 40 min because he gets 6 slotted like 30-35 min. If he fails to finish before 40 min, then it means there is a problem. You can't get stronger than you already are, and enemy gets fatter. Meepo is not a hard carry. "he is not that strong early" meepo and brood are the only heroes that has easy kill potential at lvl 3. "bkb counter poof bombs" meepo players rarely try to kill enemy heroes by throwing net and poofing. You cant run from geostrike right click anyway
well i dunno muh but riki seems good counter at least early game, to disturb him in lanes and jungle and delay his shit over and over again. at least if meepo player aint very good.
My bs tactic works cuz against meepo it is so much dmg i dont think pipe can save, and only the main one can bkb. Ez.
Send someone to take the jungle stacks, and disrupt him before he begins the deathball. If sk gets aghs he can use meepo to blow up his entire team lol. Also sk mid i wud imagine shitting on meepo lvl 1, but being extremely easy to kill past that.
