I am not sure why people are being childishly rude today, but to answer your question:
If your hero innately does something that an item can do, it makes that item obsolete. This applies for things like Basher on Slardar, Faceless Void, etc. (at one point they stacked) , Eye of Skadi on Broodmother, etc.
If your hero does the job an item does, you're literally wasting your gold by trying to increase / improve or experiment in this sense.
@Triplesteal, its not a UAM, but the manaburn from Diffusal still doesn't stack with other manaburns. If you buy Diffusal on AM, you only get AM's manaburn, not the diffusals. If you buy two diffusals on a normal hero, you only get the manaburn of one.
Like Trevor said, its a similar rule to Basher on Slardar/troll/void/SB. The item adds nothing at all to the attacks of the hero.
The only real exception is Crits. Crits from items are not fully disables on heroes with natural crits (Unlike bashes and manaburn), however they're much less cost effective.

when are you going to get this item? if you rush diffusal early, you wont be able to farm. if you want to fight mid game, you should get vlads/vanguard. diffusal doesnt give you any surviability or hp. late game there are so many better items to get. manta + basher/abyssal can let you blow up a support before the fight starts
if u go diffusal that means u effectively have 4 points of extra stats cos u dont have to get mana break,so ur paying 3150g for diffusals stats plus almost a free ulti orb. Kappa
