if want an explenation: All it does is push your wave faster, which allows the melee opponent to get more last hits, with less punishment. But maybe you could save a point or something, and kill with with one more right click instead of raze

one point, in combination of a blight stone for a total of -5 armor sounds good to me, am not a SF player, but maybe try new build can get him back to the meta.. after all, the only downside is to push ur lane.. but lane fase last 10min as much, but mid game (where my sugestion can shine) last 20min (until 30min mark).. u should try it.. maybe try using a medallion..
it was kind of a thing for a while to go razeless sf with max souls and aura first but I don't think it's for mid. It's for safelane so you can just farm like a boss and come out at level 9 0/4/4/1 and go right click everyone to death. Mid I think you need the raze to control the lane.

When I play SF mid I all time go for the same skill build, but maybe against melee heroes like alchemist, pudge, pa, it's worth to take an early point in presence of the dark lord ?
