Dude, NP is one of the most versatile heroes in the game. U can build almost any item on him, but ur talking abt pushing and yet having a build that is super expensive. The aghs octa shit is mostly late game split push, if u wanna increase ur early push get deso or maelstrom, I feel one of em is mandatory almost every game. U cud buy mek, drums, force, blink, orchid, bloodthorn, hex, ac, mkb, crits, mjollnir, SB, silver edge, linkens, necro, aghs, octarine, bkb, hurricane pike, Vlad's, roa, refresher, etc.
I wudnt pick furion tho because jacked is right in that they suck. I'm not even really blaming them for suckin cuz NP is a very hard hero, despite bulldongs memes I have major respect for having such a good NP. But the pick is either really punishing, or usually extremely punishable.
Rather than Rushing Scepter you should get dagon and Gank lanes every cd of dagon.
items like octarine and scepter are pretty much optional. but if you want to help your team.
atleast make your tp useful and gank lanes asap.
shadow blade or blink dagger is good for both offensive and defensive. the only matter is how you utilize the item.
buying necromicon as well will greatly help you to push + it has truesight which will enable you to see invisible heroes approaching you.
