Aggressive i would say NoTail or RTZ (altho he fails a lot) also Burning. Passive definitely Shadow and he outfarms you hard. And a carry that is involved a lot in fights imo Resolution and also RTZ
Hard to find newer footage of chinese carries who I feel play the passive outfarming style a little more frequently.
I've been looking for some Sylar VODS, although with the new patch ill wait a few weeks for new gameplay footage.
Just watch RTZ he plays pretty much every style extremely well. Alternatively Madara is harder to find games of as he doesn't stream and his dotabuff is hidden but he is just as beast. Matumbaman is also another although I'm not sure if he continued playing solo ranked after he hit 9k.
I do watch a lot of RTZ (50% for gameplay, 50% for music) and its helpful to understand patterns and ideologies consistent with the carry role. He has his set of heroes he plays far more often in pubs (jugg etc)
I want to spread out my carries coz lately I feel I'm personally scared to play any other carry apart from AM. I used to have a slightly more diverse pool in the past, but after I stopped playing and came back, I mostly focused on farming patterns and now im only comfortable with AM and slark (which isn't the best 2 hero pool to have)
Hao on his signature heroes is just beast
If you want to become an agressive carry, that guy is one of the best example
Having AM as one of your best hero helps alot if you're a carry
Transitioning to others wouldn't take much time
its better to watch carries play on the current patch since the heroes in the game are similar and how they move and stuff is dependent on the map and so on.
true like all new patch. personally i watch russian stream when there is no english stream just for studying

I've been practicing AM in empty lobby to get a hang of the new timing, and how to best balance clearing jungle and finding waves to push.
It seems the jungle spawns at odd minutes, so is it better to clear it at even minutes so it spawns right as you finish and you have 2 jungles to finish in a row?
Or is it a better idea to clear your jungle at odd minutes, push and try to get enemy jungle at even minutes to take their farm away.The map changes are a little confusing but watching streamers has been helping.
Yea I usually clear the camp next to the lane at even minutes, push the lane, clear the camp next to the enemies' sikrit shop, repeat
If you do vice versa is fine, it all depends on the enemies' position anyway

Yeah, I try to buy my own wards if we don't have vision, since I gave up on trying to get others to buy vision. Its only 65 gold per ward, (1 cs) and with backpack im not even risking a slot
I don't see the point of not buying vision and complaining about it. If theres vision on map, be happy that your team wants to win. If not , buy it yourself, that 65gold isn't going to change your item timing by more than 1 second (attack animation to get 1cs)
I have been playing on my friends account who gave up dota due to high blood pressure (from game LUL) and that account is at 3.8k
I have kept it steady at 3.8k after 15 games so far, but after I play on that account games on my personal account feel harder haha

I've been trying to keep a list of various types of carry players based on how they like to play.
I know every player plays differently, but if you were to classify carry players among certain types (example, aggressive carries, sit back and outfarm enemy, involved in fights, etc)
Hero choices isn't the concern, I just want to see how differently styled carry players make their decisions.
