Farm and harass with remnant, harass with overload, get runes to fill your bottle and deter the enemy mid from getting runes with your remnants. You should be farming almost non-stop, don't stand around waiting for ganking opportunities.

First wave comes and u immediately hit range creep and kill it with remnant. Try to hit hero and lh with remnant for max effeciency. And use every single overload proc. always always hit after every spell. The biggest difference good and bad storms is farming and mana effeciecy (maxing ur dmg for least amount of mana, maxin ur farming speed for the least amount of mana etc.)

you try to sneak behind your enemy while contesting cs so suddenly enemy has to run into your remnant or miss whole wave, if you manage to do that it's nearly guaranteed fountain trip for your opponent

otherwise cs more creeps at once with remnant while denying, harass with overload etc

remember that it's very difficult for your enemy to trade hits with overload since it massively slows attack speed, sometimes they try to cut the backswing animation of an attack from their habit, doing this while under overload effect makes them just stop moving and swing for the attack and not let it out at all since they're so much slower
