I was actually thinking if it would've been better if I started to calibrate my solo mmr when I got to 4.5k. Normally i stayed between 4.2k-4.4k but wanted to have more VHS games before I start to calibrate.

Now I'm thinking if I made a huge decision by not starting to calibrate when I got 4.5k hidden mmr.

you can still calibrate 4.5 or higher if you play good during your calibration games

Your hidden MMR only decides your first MMR match's average
Also you won't improve that fast if you only play pubs compared if you play MMR
