I recently watched a replay with vuncture's invoker rushing for atos.Enemy got rekt good 100% suntrikes.
Vurtune has been building Atos on Invoker for a few patches now. It's very good, maybe a decent replacement for Eul's?
Jakiro can easily get it if hes pushing/farming. The new 8% spell damage amp talent makes his DoT combo reliably wipe waves even more than before
Purge put the item to great effect when he played Undying in a recent video. The item is great on many heroes.
Well with atos the target isnt invulnerable unlike with euls' cyclone. I'd say it's close to being a good scythe alternative pre-manta

Very true, and I really like that there is no chance of ruining a team mates plans when using atos. In pubs comunication is minimal, and Euls on the wrong target can ruin your teammates combo or spells on a target. Atos will never accidentally save your enemy
Think about Atos in this way 'Not on what hero I should build it but versus what hero I should build it'? Atos > Eul vs AM, SS, QOP and etc.

Seems like its taking Dota players awhile to figure it out seeing how it was such a bad item for so long.

350 health (that is a huge amount)
New Root mechanic is very strong with 1000 cast range (do increased cast range talents/items improve this?)
