Im going to give you the tips on general gameplay of dota not invoker because you are not good dota player in general. You can either look at my games to look how i farm midgame and fight midgame. What i notice what dota 2 ns player is they have a good laning skill but they suck at midgame desicion. Either they fight too much or farm too much. I recommend to see how you split push midgame when you are behind and how you farm midgame.
Tdlr farm midgame
I checked your profile and to be honest at this level you should focus on getting good in general instead of grinding particular hero. In my opinion you don't have enough knowledge of dota2 to effectively play invoker. There's a reason why he has 43% winrate in your skill bracket - he requires certain amount of skill and knowledge. Start with the basics like farming during the laning phase and check what items you should get on a hero before the game starts. Radiance + BF ember is not a thing.
Just like everyone else said, focus on improving your general gameplay, since there is A LOT to improve on from there
I suggest starting by knowing how to last hit and play the laning phase
Find out about creep aggro
Control the lane equilibrium
Know how to last hit
Know when to last hit
Know where to last hit
You dont learn that much from pro compared to a 2k skill bracket destroyer. Ns player only cant draw creep aggro. Most of them are fine in last hitting. But after laning phase they dont even farm thats why i become a pub stomper in my bracket
i remember i start practicing invoker at BOTS only just keep playing and farm fast once you get your midas farm on jungle a bit and let your support farm on your lane if they fighting you can split and push some towers if your on bad situation and your team keeps fighting try to split push instead of going with them if your line up dont have chance fighting early invoker exort good when your team have so much stuns you can land sunstrike easily
Good invokers are either Asians who can achieve 8 million APM quite easily, or use macros because they are unskilled. If you cant do either of those give up now..
Afk farming is quite efficient and an easy way to win but only if you utilize it well
Yesterday I went like 10-3-8 or smth and still lost because I threw a dieback against WK luna alche
Sooner or later you'd have to improve on aspects other than farming, but for now just focus on that
I did more damage in my last game as a solo hard support AA than our mid invoker.
That was yesterday and im still hurting today *sob*
>.<
Antimage dont offer really much to learn. Try jugg, if you master him you can pretty much play any safalane core.
Thanks for the tips! Guess I really need to practice farming. Just one question. When would be a good time to stop farming mid and start farming jungle?
When you get your midas you can start jungling.
Try to split-push as well, and be ready to join fights if ever.
But mostly, just read what's happening in the game and adjust.
no matter how many bot games you will play, you'll still get anxious about screwing up combos in real match and you will screw up
but it will get better eventually
i practiced combos on bots but i still got nervous in real games and wasnt able to dish out spells without fuckups until few dozens of games
might be just my autism tohugh
I already have a feel for my combos (like 1 easy combo.) I just need to learn decision making.

Pretty self-explanatory but yeah. I was playing invoker recently and I really need tips. Probably on survivability and what not.
My average kda is 11/7/19
