winning your lane doesn't automagically win you the game. You still have to blow up the enemies ancient to win the game.

You unironically should desteoy the enemy ancient: make your team group up and force them to push with you.
You may lose 7-1, 20-4, etc., I've lost countless games, where I'd dumpster my lane.
It's not about the lane and kills, but more about pushing shit down, I guess.
Winning the lane will just statistically increase your winrate.
Like you play 10 games and out of them you'll very likely win more, than you'll lose, given every time you win your lane.
