Love Solar to death, but trying to kill a support with a Mek is usually harder than going for one with Shine on their head.

So many times on a support i wanted an armor item, only there rnt a lot of good ones. But with solar crest ur supports actually become harder to kill.
Ghost scepter is another one but it has crappy buildup and countered by any dispel like diffusal where as evasion is only countered by a 5000 ish gold item, or bloodthorn which is like 7000ish gold.
did u just discover solar crest? been a good item for a while and mek isnt to make the support more survivable its for the team. supports are suppose to be team players. if all your support items just help you then you are not a support you are a core intel hero

Tbh if a support buys only
items for him not to die, and doesnt die, and casts his spells and shit correctly, then there is no problem with him only using defensive items on himself.

I think it is a must item, when used against physical damage heroes, especially for squishy support. It is cheap too. You buy it for the evasion. When you were being focus on, that evasion can save some time for you to make a counter fights. It's also funny to see people miss their attack on a support.
Whereas against magical heroes, you go glimmer and pipe.
