In my opinion, it may be good but there are items that can create a bigger impact such as aghs, Midas, euls. Eg euls, u can set up, u don't need extra range.
BUT ITS SUPER COST-EFFICIENT I MEAN IT BUFFS EVERY SPELL

Dagon damage- 400
Lens damage - 5% of your spell damage
Basically you have to do 8,000 spell damage for it to do as much damage as Dagon does. How much spell damage are you actually doing with Invoker? You can burst heroes down, sure, but they don't nearly have that much HP. If you're hitting all five heroes in a meatball I'd say yes, you can outpower the Dagon's damage. Other than that it doesn't seem to be a cost effective damage item. On any hero I can think of.
28-0 vs bots means nothing buddy.. also dagger or force staff are better..
also invoker normally have problems with inventory.. boots, dagger, scepter and midas already take 4 slots.. u still thing like bkb, core, refresh, shivas etc etc etc.. EVERYTHING in dota is situational (the beauty of the game), but it still inst best i guess
why would anyone take lens for damage?
if you check it elens buffs invoker's spells differently, it gives attack range for creeps, synergizes with nightstalker/kotl super well, works somewhat like another level on orbs
but it's still better to have one mobility item before anyhitng, i think aether lens is a good item since its really cheap but only on early push strats, because lacking mobility fucking sucks
i did 40k damage on the bot match but i think that's the usual damage i'd do even without lens
No one is stupid enough to try to:
1) Outrun a tornado
2) Walk in the path of a meteor
And the rest of his spells that are affected are pretty much irrelevant. If you want more damage get a veil, more range for your spells? Get more points in Wex.

um i think that too. but it doesnt work. they are no situation that make invo need more range. u just need to cast spell and run that all invo doing
