It's usually better to use as often as possible
Make replicate to splitpush really aggressively
Make replicate to push tower harder
Make replicate in teamfight to help with damage
"Saving" it is rarely useful other than specific scenarios (saving it for a venge or drow or something?)
btw this is just what i do but im not a great morph
i think using it often is better if you have the mana to do so.or save it when you need to win a clash with an enemy like wk or any useful aura
Carry Morph hardly ever use replicate to fight, it's better as escape/mobility
But as Support Morph you save it for fights most of the time
Use it often, but consider your mana. I used to question on how to use replicate. It's basically for your split push and act as a Pseudo Fire Remnant, possibly even better than Fire Remnant, IMO. Unless you can Replicate a useful hero, it's better off as a means of replicating to another lane or to save yourself from imminent danger.
