Juggernaut
Sniper
Dazzle
Venomancer
Beastmaster
Lol just kidding I have no fucking idea.
carry : probably jugger
Offlane : easily abaddon
Mid : Meepo if u can play it , SF
Support : Dazzle . venge
I'm sure you need a Death prophet lone Druid and drow in there somewhere. Then maybe lesh/pugna/venomancer
I once played in a super annoying lineup.... it was smthn like a visage(me)drow arcwarden jakiro and something else... rax in 15 mins
another good one involved a sandking(me) tusk deathprophet sven dazzle... game won in 20 mins
I did one a month or two ago
We had NP,SB,Leshrac,Axe and SF
Its was the most fun i had for months in dota lol
go 2-1-2
Offlane: Jakiro/pugna + abaddon
Mid: Veno / DK - Any lane dominator would work since enemy supports will be forced to stay in their lane cuz of duals, no need to be a pushing hero
Safe lane: Huskar + oracle/dazzle
Just make sure they dont get Ancinet aparition and you're good to end pre min 20.
Deathball needs some kind of heal to sustain the push. That's why jug and dazzle are so common for deathball pushes.
I'd probably go:
Jug, heals and good dmg for pushing
Abbadon, heals and the aura is really good for pushing
Clinkz, you need someone ranged for high ground and clinkz is really good at that. Drow strats you need to pick more than one ranged.
Beastmaster, good aura, good creeps for push
Ogre/venge, bloodlust or dmg aura/-armor
You could easily swap in troll or wk for jug, dazzle for support, enigma or chen for beastmaster
Or you could just go all cc tanky heroes like axe, wk, sven, dk, nightstalker and just run at everyone all day (and night). Shit like that is really hard to defend unless you have super team fight that can wipe them like black hole + wyvern + earthshaker ult or something.
^ Or 5 annoying heroes with DoT like Huskar, Necros, Jakiro, Veno, and Viper.
@jacked
Howl
Behavior: No Target
Grants bonus damage and bonus health to Lycan, all allied heroes and all units under their control. Howl has double effect during night.
Also the +10 regen aura from HOTD and +6 from a dominated satyr would disagree
Forgot about lycan, he is a good group pusher. There's a lot of heroes who can deathball, no one superior draft.
A lot depends on the enemy draft, like do they have wave clear or are their heroes hard to kill. If you can never kill them you will have to push around that.
Drow strats
Huskar strats
The occasional all in push strat (pugna, warlock, jakiro, leshrac, etc)
Lycan broodmother is kinda nasty, with howl u give every spider bonus dmg
It would have worked if you guys left me alone vs timber and ns kappa
Death ball heroes usually pick very early which is an indicator of being more ability dependent than item dependent. They usually belong to one of this two categories: push heroes or fight heroes. Push heroes often have some form of AOE damage, AOE attack speed, AOE sustain, summons or castable abilities on towers. Fight heroes usually rely on flat physical damage increase from spells, High flat magic DPS or AOE crowd control.
AOE damage: Drow, Venge, Luna
AOE attack speed: Troll, Beastmaster, Ogre
AOE sustain: Dazzle, Chen, Enchantress and certain cheap aura carriers(Vlad, Helm, Mek,...) like Bounty
summons: Lycan, NP, LD, Beastmaster, Brood, Visage
Tower spells: Lesh, SS, Pugna, Jakiro, DK, DP
flat physical damage increase: Ursa, BB, Brood, Huskar, Blood, Venom, Sniper, Clinkz, Razor, Meepo, Luna
magic DPS: Clockwerk, Tinker, Lina, Puck, etc.
AOE crowd control: Sand king, Jakiro
very informative thank you. although not sure how is flat physical dmg increase or magic dps relevant to the topic
That's some form of nonscaling early advantage over scaling heroes. For example as soon as Ursa is level 7, he can max his Fury swipes that does a lot of damage. But some hero like Spectre needs a lot of levels and items like Radiance, Diffusal Blade, Butterfly, etc to make her Haunt do damage.
