Oh,I've misunderstanding,you was saying you have roughtly 4K when you just having 3.6K,was mislead by your 5 thousand matchs played,my bad.
But why don't you play more solo and try to make yourself a better player first before jumping to party and become heavy burden for your teammates?
I've had 4k mmr and right now I'm 3830, yesterday I was 3900. I know it's not that much but I thought that it'd be easier to improve if I could have some advice, the friends I'm talking about are 1800 and 1300, so playing with them is not really helpful, I don't think that I'm an awful player or anything it's just that I thought that I'd improve faster if I could play with people as a team.
What playing with 1k mmr people wont help you improve? oh crap i had been wasting my time playing with my sub 1k friends

I've been playing dota for a long time but I haven't really played with anyone lately, most of my friends don't play dota anymore and the ones that do have half my mmr (roughly 4k), I'm looking for a party in america, I don't mind if you don't have a mic (I don't have one either) I just want to improve without being insulted 24/7, I play position 1 and have lots of free time.
pd I wouldn't mind playing other roles.
