I would say 50-50 actually

pos 1 = carry safelane
pos 2 = mid ( can transist to carry )
pos 3 = offlane
pos 4 = roam or support 1
pos 5 = roam or hard support

Equating positions to terms like safelane carry/mid is missing the point of pos 1-5 categories.

It is often the case that the hard support becomes pos 1 for a period because the team crucially needs them to have a blink for example.

Having your highest level, most farmed hero farming mid game whilst the safelane carry makes space for them is just retarded in most scenarios.
