If its pos 4, i suggest watching gh ns against team empire, if its offlane try to watch 9pasha's ns offlane against navi game number two, try to take note of how he itemized despite having a low networth

Im jsut and average player , but I played NS a lot back in dota 1 and played all sorts of roles with it, and recently i have been back at it with a really high winrate with NS , dont roam with it unless u really need that early silence and fighting power , go offlane and become a core . If the enemy midlaner is a spelldependent u can even go mid with it and totally ruin their mid hero and hence their game . But better just go offlane ,farm , get items that can help u in fight night (utility like urn , medallion) , and kill their team . U realize u cant solo kill in the midgame 20-30 mins so go for teamfight items (Agha , bkb) . With that 25 level AS it enables u to actually solo most of the carrys in late game so after agha go for carry items .( Mkb , basher , heart)
So basically NS roamer is not always a good idea , unless u really excel at drafting and u know what u are doing , NS roam is not a stable pick , though NS offlane is a stable pick right now .

roam, night stalker is one of those hero that can be strong without much item. But even with a 6 slotted item he cannot win against an actual late game core with 4 or 5 slotted. Unless night stalker get the butthurt combo of nullifer+ good damage, otherwise it will be hard.

So far in my opinion, nullifer, silveredge and bloodthrone is the golden combo for ganking

Dual offlane is the best way. Who gets the farm depends on your lane partner.

Think of it this way. Roaming, because you can build anything and scale amazingly to become another core later on. If it goes late enough the game will
Look like 4cores and 1 supp vs 3 cores and 2 supp since you can shit on their team because you scale better
