typically, you are shit and you know what, blaming wont make you becomes better but if you try to admit and realize that you are one of the problem in your team, then you should get to the next level.
Thats what i did when i was 3k or 4k shits and now, I am 6k and been stucking at here for quite a long time, which means that I can be considered as a shit / average player in 6k mmr bracket.
3.1k to 3.5k does not have much difference, the only thing that makes different is your skill, you should be able to climb out from that bracket easily if you are decent, if you cant, meaning that, YOU BELONG TO THAT BRACKET.

If you think you're better than your current bracket now, then must be easy to stomping your games and climb back. I was calibrated at 3.1k as well at the season 2 because had bad record at the calib (2-8, from legend V to archon V lol), but then the games became easier. I gained around 400 mmr and got legend 3 in just two weeks after.
Complaining doesn't make you get to where you should be, winning games does.

my 1st calibration with my account is 3.1k too..i reached 5k with this account and drop 4.6 with the season 3 recalibration..if youre good enough you can climb fast..

Unranked is great for practise and learning but its not the same as ranked. Winning in unranked is like playing well in a preseason football match it means shit.
As i said unranked is great, it takes the pressure of winning and i can play roles and heroes i usually dont play. Which means i might play a hero i cant play so if you stomp me mid and think you are the greatest and then go ranked and play against a tryhard mid, reality check.

Why would you want a high mmr? I think 2-3k is the best bracket you can be at. You can chill here, stomp hard from time to time, and still keep learning. If you don't plan going PRO, and don't put your mmr to be equal your ego, 2-3k is mmr heaven.
^Can confirm 2-3k is the most fun games ever, anything can work, people tend to fight a lot than sub 2k 40min junglers, rest of bracket up/down is aids.
First time calibrating maximum mmr is 3.5. Now if the season resets and you recalibrate for the second time, basically every calibration game is worth around x3 value (-75 +75). Thats how the current system works. In the past (around 2 years ago) they had a different system which you could calibrate very high based on KDA and other factors.
Mmr in dota doesnt mean a damn thing, does it matter that you are 3k or 4k or 5k or 6k??
its just a game, the MAIN objective of this game is to have fun. Dont let the mmr shit get to your head, believe me I have met and played with lower mmr players, Win or lose. They smile and laugh because they played it to enjoy the damn game.
No one would criticize for being archon, heck they had even worse win rate than you.

fuck this, i had like 85 high skill and some veryhigh skill during my 100 games, played a lot of hereos, supported, did everything and people wee telling im gonna get 3.8k or at least 3.5 and now after 10 calib matches, i got 3.1 with archon VI .. fuck, fuck gaben fuck volvo fuck everyone. stupid game
