With Spec, you play the 45+ minute game... If the enemy has a 20 minute Drow strat going, you basically cannot with Specter. He is one of the few real "late game" heroes in Dota. He doesn't do much without 3-4 big items... Radiance, Heart etc.
I ain't no Specter master, but the ult enables you to farm farm farm and then show up late in the team fights to mop up a kill or two and then get back to farming. Ultimate usage is really important as it is global, you need be active when it is up. Otherwise your team is playing 4vs5 for 40 minutes. And that will eat up your space to farm...
But he is a win condition... That can single handedly win the game if the rest of the team can manage to drag it along that much. He doesn't slow down towards the end.

Spec is dog shit to lane with! So useless at lane! Then it goes jungle for 20-30min and all she do is ulti and cry about she is not getting enough farm.

That hero is no good at all this patch as it seems,i did 0 damage,and you are always playing at mercy of your opponents.
You went Skadi 3rd item against a Bane, Lina, Enigma, Beastmaster and Death Prophet. You had a 20 minute radiance so you shouldn't have had issues farming or dealing damage in fights, you needed a proper defensive item to have enough time in fights to actually deal damage. If you went Heart you would have been way more useful.
the hero is really bad at laning, but how to win u need a strong laning support to help secure your cs and sustain u

even though they do have %-based damage. heart gives more ehp to then disperse as damage. didnt watch the game though so idk if heart over skadi would have made a difference in any situation or if u needed the slow from it.
or maybe you go abyssal/aghs and try to get picks since you have tree + ember to split / cut waves, one of the enemies will probably tp back. it seems like if you don't get the jump on them you can't win a 5v5 so the difference between skadi/heart probably wouldn't matter
Her 3rd passive is just so hilariously strong in lategame vs non tanky cores, lot of line ups can't kill her 1vs5 without break.
