I started in normal bracket too. Now im playing at vhs. Im guessing it has nothing to do with kdr and winrates since i have bad winrate and kdr in some of my games but im not really sure
@chidori thanks for the insight :DD I was just confused cause even though Ive never lost a VHS game, i keep going back to Normal skill tiers. Heres to hoping i break though the Normal skill tier tooo :DD
Its purely based on your mmr, win games in ranked = increase your unranked mmr as well.
@parmaviolets yes i know that but what I meant is if you made a new account that hasnt done any ranked games yet
You only get put in VHS when you're playing with a friend who is at a higher rating. You get put in HS games occasionally because your hidden MMR is near the HS bracket. You get put in NS games most of the time because your hidden MMR is NS.

If you check my account right now, I am sitting at Normal Skill tier with 55% winrate, despite winning few VHS games and some HS games, I still average at Normal Tier. I was wondering if my account is going to be stuck here wether if I keep winning or is there a way for me to break through Normal Skill Tier? Thanks :D
ps: I feel like since I lost a lot on my first few games, this affected what skill tier I would be at
