I dont like current meta, but game is still fun for me. I dont feel bad when losing to ppl picking troll/sniper/whatever.
To me, the game is dead. Players don't try, matchmaking is retarded. I just go "meh" and do other things. It's a shame cause I really enjoyed this game for so long but it's really hard to remain positive anymore when everything about the game now is just amazing stupidity.
Kitrak , if u manage to back in matches where i was playing to win with lina storm and these shits u will see i bearly lost , considering that ive picked es 10 times out of my last 15 games and lost 8 of them id say that its obvious that i cant play him and still picking him which obviously proves my point of iim training him and i dont really care about winning

Honestly, I hate sniper the rest of the carries don't bother me much. I have good luck supporting as winter wyvern who IMO is one of the best anti hard carries with his ult but like people have said above there is a lot of stupidity.
People don't itemize based on their competition right now either they just buy same items every game for their hero. I almost give up now when I get jugg on my team they're so bad.
If you hate troll try winter wyvern and get a refresher at some point if possible and poof your good to go. Unless they have a good storm spirit who will at that point focus you.
As earth spirit I would avoid the pick if your team doesn't have a top hard carry right now cause if you don't they will and bkb's will make you pretty useless. Other than that buy a Aghs either use it on your key support being focused early or try and use it on their hard carry and punt him to a bad location.
Oh yeah as earth spirit if your radiant make sure to try and kick a melee on cliff at top rune.
Honestly I think it's more to do with players attitude then meta picks. I win plenty vs meta heroes but I also lose cause people think if the enemy has a sniper troll you automatically lost so either they don't try or there are a couple team mates who are so stressed about feeding sniper that they rage and do nothing cause they don't want to "feed" a meta hero.
Then you also get the 4k's who have gone from 4.5 - 5K picking troll and they honestly just suck so fucking hard cause their mechanics are ass. To be fair I got to 5.5 playing supports but I will probably drop to 4k in this meta cause of the attitudes now.
havoc , its not about winning or losing , the game is not fun anymore man , the weakness of sniper is denied by mom s&y skadi , troll cant be kited anymore , his strength is extremly op , 3.5k hp over 30 armour with 522 ms and slows and satanic + bkb , u can rape early game and end before he reach that , but hg is extremly hard to break and alot of earth shakers storm lina sniper troll jugger , u lose 1 hg fight and rubberband get to work , if u keep farming using map , it will reach late game where they r stronger than youre heroes , and its the same if ur the team doing that , u dont get the satisfaction of winning , neither comeback ...
And btw the same thing is happening in pro games , they r less enjoyable to watch , 99% p/b troll , sniper , used to be one of the easiest heroes to counter , is now first pick material

Pick Sniper/Troll/Jagger or lose :S Heros pool ? Nah never heard of it.
Current meta sucks monkey dong cock. Almost every game is the same heros lineup. Pick something refreshing like "insert any non meta hero" and you will most likely get stomped.
Same shit was with PA last patch, when i had 90% winrate with this hero as nothing else could compete. That was stupid, now meta is just brain dead stupid.
This patch is awesome. When everything seems lost... go balls deep and make them do mistakes 1 by 1.

I am half asleep having an essay due in a couple of hours, I played two matches just to settle nerves.
130 APM, that's braindead-tier mouse movement.
We had 20 kills in the bag whilst they had 40 kills and see what happens.
Me and techies were essentially not in the game. I would use my ult to clear a creep wave and walk back to fountain whilst alt-tabbed browsing the net.
Due to my performance, this PA gets 400g+ per kill 30 mins when the game should've been long over.
Trash meta, it is not even fun. I did not deserve that win and should be punished for being a half-afk sleepy player.
Clarification: 130 apm storm is like playing chen without micro.
How does a tiny not have Aghs at 41 minutes??? Io teammate too.
Either way on the note after seeing your game I don't miss having any image teammates so boring holding things down waiting for the hero to come online.
I'd suggest quitting dota entirely, I've done this and seen an immediate increase in my GPA (3.5 to 3.8) and it feels good to have a life again
I've quit Dota 2 since the game has gotten so bad in the last few months (Initially it was for Lent) and I heard that Troll and Sniper picks were up the roof.
I'm better off anyway, this game sounds like it's getting even worse.
A lot of players are quitting because of this patch, the game just isnt enjoyable anymore. Luckily icefrog said 6.84 will come after starladder so you can come back soon.

all he does is buff a bunch of heroes, bring them into the light and put a shadow on the rest of em. its basically going full league of legend a.k.a u either play in the meta or u lose.
its became more like a work instead of a game, u have to pick those trash heroes in order to win.

Well, before troll, axe, sniper there was the tinker/slark/void-spam. Slark still seen in pubs a lot today though.

In this game we were losing bla bla idc tbh but then we made good fights and we were back in the game , got gem dewarded smoke ganked defended some stolen rps , but guess what , we made a fight killed 4 of them and troll came late , 5v1 , kill him and rax right?
